Rice -- Speedy wide receiver candidate who missed time in the fall with an injury then spent the spring with the Rice baseball team.
2007 -- Redshirt Other Rice Sports Played in three games for the Owls baseball team in 2008, going hitless in four at bats.
High School -- 2007 graduate of Katy High School in suburban west Houston... Unanimous all-District 18-5A selection at wide receiver and kick returner for coach Gary Joseph... Third-team 5A all-state by Dave Campbell[apos]s Texas Football as a kick returner... Caught 44 passes for 738 yards and eight scores as a senior... Listed on the Dallas Morning News Hot 100 and the Rivals.com Texas 100 after earning first-team all-state selection as a junior, catching 62 passes for 1399 yards and 19 touchdowns... Earned first-team 5A all-state honors in baseball in 2006 and 2007 as a second baseman in addition to all-America honors in 2007 from Louisville Slugger... Also visited New Mexico State and Texas State before selecting Rice.
