Selected to play in the coaches[apos] association all-star game... Hit .392 for the Rebels with seven home runs, 26 RBI and 22 stolen bases in 30 games in 2011... Finished prep career with a .401 average, 72 RBI and 59 stolen bases... Earned first team All-District 3-5A as a junior in 2010 to help the team advance to the Region I bi-district playoffs... Maintained a .580 on-base percentage as the primary leadoff batter that season... Named the district[apos]s Newcomer of the Year as a sophomore in 2009... Coached in baseball by Chuck Wells... Versatile athlete also started two seasons as a receiver on the Rebels[apos] football team... Maintained a 3.9 grade point average... Personal - Full Name: Nicholas Perry Bullington. Born: July 9, 1992, in Grapevine, Tex. Parents: Stan and Holly Bullington of North Richland Hills, Tex. (two sisters). Grandfather, Marvin Bullington, was a baseball letterman at Wyoming (1960-63). Chose to attend Rice over Yale, Harvard, Princeton and the U.S. Military and Naval Academies.
