Walk-on originally at linebacker who earned a letter while playing on the defensive line and will move to fullback for his final season... C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll (2014, 2015, 2016 & 2017)... 2017 Rice Honor Athlete.
2016
Earned a letter after appearing in 10 games on the defensive line and being credited with four tackles... Credited with a pair of stops vs. Baylor and matched that total with two tackles at Louisiana Tech.
2015
Saw action in five games... Made two tackles... Picked up first career TFL against Wagner.
2014
Made his debut on special teams at Notre Dame... Picked up his first career tackle in the Hawai'i Bowl vs. Fresno State.

All District 10-5A as a junior and second team as a senior at McKinney Boyd HS... All-Collin County as a senior, finishing with 102 tackles, six tackles for loss, two sacks, two caused fumbles and two fumble recoveries. Boyd closed out with five straight wins.
