First Owl to reach double figures in PBUs since Bryce Callahan had 10 in 2013... Last Owl to have more than 10 was Phillip Gaines, who set the school record with 18 in 2012... Matched his career high with three PBUs vs. UAB... Credited with a career- best six tackles as well as a TFL, a forced fumble and a broke up one pass vs. Houston.
2017
Saw action in ten games (eight starts), bouncing back after missing the 2016 season with an injury... Established career-highs in tackles (27), unassisted tackles (22), assists (5), TFLs (2), PBUs (7) while also picking up his first sack and interception... Set a single-game best of five tackles in the opener against Stanford in Sydney, Australia and matched that total at Houston and at Pitt... Picked off his first career pass vs. FIU and his first career sack at UTEP (loss of 11 yards)... Missed the final two games with an injury.
2016
Saw his hopes to build on a solid freshman campaign end early in fall camp when he suffered a lower leg injury that required surgery and forced him to redshirt.
2015
One of two true freshmen corners to see extensive action and earned All C-USA Freshman honors... Led the team with five PBU while finishing with 13 tackles... Made his first career start vs. LA Tech and started the last five games... Credited with a season-best three pass breakups at FAU, including one on FAU's final possession of the game.
Pflugerville High School
First team All-District 13-6A as a senior as a cornerback and as a kick returner after earning all-district honors as a safety in his junior year for coach George Herrmann... Three-year letterman and two-year starter... Credited with 29 tackles and had one interception as a senior... National Honor Society member with a 3.70 GPA... Also a member of PALS.
