Nailed a career-best, 51-yard field goal at LSU... First Owl to convert from 50+ since 2017 Pro Bowler Chris Boswell in 2013... Converted 61/65 PATs to rank eighth in school history.

Converted his only field goal attempt as well as both PATs he attempted in 2017... Kicked a 23-yard field goal at Pitt and added a PAT to score four points... Added a PAT vs. FIU... Has converted 61/65 PATs to rank eighth in school history... Wes Hansen (1976-79) is seventh with 62. .. Field goal at Pitt was his 16th (in 25 tries) which ranks ninth on the Rice career list...Alan Pringle is eighth with 19.

Converted on 8-9 PATs vs. Prairie View to match the second best single-game mark in school history... Third Owl to kick eight in a game, joining Derek Crabtree, Clark Fangmeier (3 times) and Chris Boswell... Matched his career-best with two field goals vs. North Texas, hitting from 40 and 36 yards.
2015
Joined team at the start of camp as a walk-on and earned immediate playing time... Handled placements in 11 of 12 games.... Drilled a career-best 45 yarder at UTSA and converted both his attempts from 40-49... Converted his first career field goal attempt, a 37-yarder at Baylor... Had a 51-yard attempt just before haltime blocked... Converted both PATs vs. Wagner and Texas.
West High School
Two-time All-Centex and All-District 9-3A, selection for coach David Woodard at West High... District Special Teams Player of the Year as a senior... Converted all seven field goal attempts as a senior and averaged 66 yards on kickoffs... Also lettered for four years and basketball and three years in track... National Honor Society member , senior class vice presidents as well as vice president of the West Student Council.
