2016
Came into season looking to re-establish himself after missing spring while rehabbing from surgery, but was thrust into an immediate tarting role after senior Connor Patterson was injured in the season opener and went on to make 11 starts at three positions... Made his first career start at Army and started three games at left guard before moving to center against Southern Miss when Trey Martin was injured... Made four starts at center until Martin returned vs. FAU and then started final four games at right guard.
2015
Saw action in all 12 games last year as a reserve on the line and on special teams.

First team All-District 19-4A as a senior at New Caney for coach Brady Pennington after earning second team All-District 22-5A accolades as a junior at Manvel... Member of Dave Campbell's Texas Football's Texas Top 300 and listed as one of the top 25 offensive linemen and a preseason All-State selection... A member of the Houston Chronicle's Houston Top 100... Finalist for the Houston Touchdown Club preseason Player of the Year award... All Greater Houston... Father, Jimmy, is the Offensive Coordinator at Blinn JC and played quarterback at Houston as did his uncle, David.
