Second-team all-Rio Grande Valley selection by McAllen Monitor, and first-team all-Bay Area selection at offensive tackle... Twice an all-District 30-5A selection... Credited with 37 pancake blocks and 35 'extra-effort' blocks, grading out at 90 percent for the season... Ended his high school career with 33 consecutive starts... Helped the Rattlers to a 7-4 record as a senior and a Class 5A playoff berth... Won a Sharyland Hoss Award every week of the season... Also competed in track, throwing the discus...
