Explosive performer who made the switch to safety in the spring after two seasons as a running back.
2014
Led the Owls with 16 kick returns for 365 yards and added 92 yards on the ground as well one reception at Texas A&M (18 yards)... Made his debut as a kick returner by returning four for 130 yards at Southern Miss, including his career long return of 43 yards... Reached the end zone for the first time in his career, a two-yard run vs. Army for the first score of the day... Also picked up a pair of tackles on special teams coverage.

One of eight true freshmen to play in 2012... Rushed for 106 yards on 34 carries and caught three passes for 18 yards... Top rushing effort was 53 yards on 11 carries vs. UTSA... Caught all three passes intended for him vs. Louisiana Tech.
Copperas Cove High School
All-District 12 5A selection as both a junior and senior for coach Jack Welch at Copperas Cove... Hamilton ran for 1,505 yards, averaged 7.6 per carry and scored 26 touchdowns as a senior to earn a place on the Texas Sportswriters All-State honorable mention list ... Earned honors as a junior fullback and as a running back as a senior.
