Finished the year with 11 tackles, including three for loss... Credited with his first career tackle vs. Notre Dame... Credited with two stops, a hurry and shared a TFL vs. ODU... Credited with his first career solo sack vs. North Texas and shared one with Zach Patt vs. UTSA... Picked up his second solo sack of the year vs. UTEP to allow Rice to break its season mark of 33 set in 2006.

Made his defensive debut in the opener at Texas A&M, but was injured... Returned to action vs. Louisiana Tech.

All District 16-5A selection as a senior for Anthony Wood after switching to wide receiver for his senior year... Played quarterback in his first year at Westwood after moving from Wisconsin...
