Left-handed pitcher in first season at the Division I level... Could be called to face left-handed hitters... One of seven lefties on the Owl staff.

High School - A 2009 graduate of Stratford High School... Named the District 18-5A Pitcher of the Year and a Houston Area Baseball Coaches Association all-star as a senior... Coached by Jason Willis... Helped lead the Spartans to a 19-9 record and the bi-district finals... Went 6-3 with a 1.49 ERA in 2009... Struck out 85 batters in 51.2 innings of work... Posted a career-high 15 strikeouts over rival Memorial H.S.... Record was 5-2 with a 2.14 ERA as a junior in 2008, piling-up an eye-opening 105 strikeouts in 55.2 innings (an average of 17 strikeouts per nine innings)... Threw a no-hitter with 14 strikeouts against Nimitz H.S.... Member of the National Honor Society.
