Second team All-State as a linebacker as a junior while also catching 19 passes for 380 yards and five touchdowns for the 2A Division I State Champions... Also a standout in track, running on the Brahmas' state champion 4x400 relay as a sophomore and junior and finishing third in the 300 meter hurdles as a sophomore... Earned all-district honors in basketball as a junior... A member of the National Honor Society and an Academic All-State selection as a senior.
