HOUSTON – Rice women's tennis will host Tulsa on Friday and Louisiana Tech on Sunday at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.

The Owls were originally scheduled to face only Tulsa but, but Louisiana Tech was added to the weekend slate on Thursday.

Rice enters the weekend 8-5 overall and 4-1 at home. The Owls are coming off a split weekend, defeating host Tulane 4-2 before falling 4-1 to No. 38 Charlotte. The doubles pair of Darya Schwartzman and Uma Bakaityte is ranked No. 58 in the latest ITA rankings.

Rice is 3-5 all-time at home against Tulsa, with its last home win in the series coming in a 6-1 victory on March 19, 2023.

The Owls are 9-0 all-time against Louisiana Tech, including a 4-0 sweep in Houston on March 6, 2025.
