HOUSTON – Uma Bakaityte and freshman Josephine Kunz won their respective flights to close out the Rice Invite at the George R. Brown Tennis Center on Sunday.

Three Owls competed in their flight finals, with Bakaityte and Kunz each finishing the weekend undefeated in singles and doubles. Kunz defeated SMU's Addison Comiskey in three sets, 5-7, 6-4, 6-3, while Bakaityte defeated Tulane's Campbell Ricci, 6-3, 6-3.

Daniela Chica closed out the weekend with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over UTRGV's Madeleine Joffe. Anushka Ashar fell to Tulane's Natalia Fantini, 6-4, 6-7, 6-1, in her flight final, while Francesca Maguina defeated SMU's Sophie Llewelyn, 2-6, 6-3, 6-1.
