Post Meet Reaction - Head Coach Jon Warren
"This was the best meet of the indoor season so far. The biggest accomplishment of the day was Christian Edgar breaking Derras Wilmington's 60m hurdle record from 1997, posting a time of 7.77 seconds. Other highlights include Sultan Bakare's weight and shot performances, which he ended up tying the third best weight throw mark in Rice history. Marcus Gaitan had a great showing in the 800m and our 4x400 team ran very well today. Our pole vaulters also had a good showing today. It was good to see the entire group compete so well against such good competition."
