Men’s Track Set for Charlie Thomas Invite

HOUSTON – The Rice men's track and field team heads back to College Station this weekend for the Charlie Thomas Invite, hosted by Texas A&M. The two-day meet will begin on Friday.
Sultan Bakare enters the meet as the conference leader for the weight throw. Cal Abdulky is close behind in second while Daniel Sowell sits fifth in the American,
Bakare also ranks third for the American in the shot put, while Sowell sits sixth.
Christian Edgar and Vincent Nnanna both compete this weekend in the 60m hurdles, with both sitting in the top 10 for the conference.
Marcus Gaitan is ranked seventh in the American for the 800m.
