Men’s T&F Set to Compete at C-USA Championships

DENTON – The Rice Owls men's track & field team will head to Denton, Texas from Thursday to Sunday for the 2023 C-USA Outdoor Championships hosted by the University of North Texas.
The Owls are coming off a third-place showing at the C-USA Indoor Championships, the highest finish for the Owls since the 2009 season.
In total, the Owls will have 33 athletes competing in 18 events. Several event winners from last year's outdoor championships return including Nick Hicks (hammer throw), Ese Amata (high jump) and Alexander Slinkman (pole vault).
