In Brief: Rice saw all three of its doubles teams advance to the quarterfinals before falling to wrap up play for the Owls at the ITA Division I Texas Regional in Fort Worth on Saturday.
The Details: Rice took a pair of doubles sets vs. teams from UTSA and a third from Baylor in the morning session before seeing their quest to advance to Sunday's semifinals end in losses to teams from Baylor, Texas Tech and North Texas.

Up Next: Budin and El Jardi, who are currently ranked 16th in the nation, will be back in action next week after qualifying for the doubles main draw at the ITA Women's All-America Championship which will be held in Cary, North Carolina from October 1-9. Their teammates will be back in action in two weeks when they compete in Baylor's HEB Invitational from October 7-9.
