Concluded her Rice career with a 10-7 singles record, including a 6-2 spring record, and an 18-12 doubles record, including a 12-8 record in the spring ... Moved to the No. 1 doubles role with partner Francesca Maguina late in the season ... Appeared at the No. 6 position during singles all season ... Won nine-straight doubles matches to open the season, and won final two singles matches of the year ... Did not lose a singles match after Feb. 21.
2023-24 (Junior)
Posted records of 17-8 and 15-12 in singles and doubles play, respectively, with marks of 10-4 and 9-6 during the dual match season... Doubles champion at the Rice Invitational alongside Darya Schwartzman... Went 9-3 at the fifth position of the singles lineup and went unbeaten across the final 15 matches of the season, winning eight matches during the streak and leading a further three when matches were suspended... Spring: Kay Person Keating Award winner as team MVP after posting a career-high 10 wins in singles and her .833 winning percentage (10-2) was tops on the team… Was 4-1 in tiebreakers, including two vs. FIU to move the Owls to one point of the clinch… Three of four tiebreak wins were by 7-2 scores, the fourth was 7-3… 3-0 in three-set matches… C-USA Women’s Tennis Athlete of the Week for her efforts in the win at Charlotte on 3/19… Twice delivered the clinching point vs. Charlotte, both in three sets…. Bounced back from a 1-6 loss in the first set at #30 Charlotte on 3/19 to clinch the match (1-6, 7-5, 6-4)… Completed the rally after losing doubles to the 49ers in the C-USA semifinals, coming back from a set down to win the final two sets 6-1 (4-6, 6-1, 6-1)… Bounced back from her only tiebreak loss of the year to win her match vs. Houston 6-7(6), 6-2, 6-2… 8-3 overall in doubles (6-3 at the third line) 7-2 with Schwartzman over the last 12 matches (leading in two of three unfinished)… Clinched the doubles vs. #36 FIU with a 7-3. tiebreaker.
