HOUSTON – Uma Bakaityte finished as the singles runner-up at the American Individual Championships on Sunday at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.
The No. 2 seed Bakaityte fell to top-seeded Xin Tong Wang of Wichita State 6-2, 6-1 in the final.
The Owls will next compete at the H-E-B Invitational from Oct. 29-Nov. 1.
