Owls Win Six of Seven on Day One of H-E-B Fall Invitational

In Brief: Rice rolled to win in six of seven matches on the first day of Baylor's H-E-B Fall Invitational a the Hurd Tennis Center on Friday.

The Details: Marte Lambrecht and Allison Zipoli picked up a pair of wins in doubles and each added a victory in singles in the opening day of action. They opened the day's action with a win over Yekaterina Dimitrich and Camryn Stepp of Texas Tech and closed activity with a win over Texas' Gabby Cusano and Simran Kortikere. Federica Trevisan dropped only one game in a straight-set win over Baylor's Brooke Thompson while Saara Orav downed Kortikere in straight sets.
