Owls to Compete at Houston G5 & Super 22 Invitational

Meet runs Friday-Saturday at Yeoman Fieldhouse
HOUSTON - The Rice Owls men's track & field team will make a visit to Yeoman Fieldhouse for a third consecutive weekend this Friday-Saturday when they partake in the Houston G5 & Super 22 Invitational.
In total, the Owls will have 25 athletes competing in eight events on Friday and five events on Saturday.
Last week, freshman Grant Levesque moved into 17th place in the nation with his second place finish (5.25m/17-2.75) in the pole vault, which ranks tops in Conference USA. Junior Nick Hicks also claimed the top mark in C-USA with a victory in the weight throw at 19.40m (63-7.75). Both are scheduled to be in action this weekend.
Action gets underway at 2 p.m. on Friday and 12 p.m. on Saturday.
