Race begins at 8:45 a.m. on Sept. 25
HOUSTON - Following their second place finish at the season-opening Rice Invitational, the Owls women's cross country team heads to College Station this Saturday, Sept. 25 to race at the Texas A&M Invitational held on the Dale Watts Cross Country course. The field of teams include Little Rock, North Texas, Prairie View, Tarleton State, Texas A&M, Texas A&M-International, Texas A&M-Kingsville and UTSA.
The women will race over 5,000 meters beginning at 8:45 a.m. Admission is free and live results will be available at www.flashresults.com.
The Owls are currently ranked No. 7 in the latest USTFCCCA South Central regional rankings.
The Rice crew will include 12 athletes at the starting line along with two additional runners competing unattached.
