Rice Heads to Missouri for Gans Creek Classic

COLUMBIA – The Rice women's cross country team travels to the University of Missouri for the Gans Creek Classic on Friday morning, with the women's 6k slated for 8:00 a.m.
Rice is coming off a tremendous start to the season, with Brooklyn Crow leading the Owls with a second-place finish at the 50th annual Rice Invitational.
Emma Rohrbach (fourth) and Katherine McNulty (sixth) added great collegiate debut races as the Owls claimed the team title in Head Cross Country Coach Hanna Peterson's debut meet.
In the USTFCCCA regional polls, Rice ranks ninth in the South Central region.
