Weather Forces Postponement of All-American Intercollegiate

HOUSTON — Due to winter weather that is expected to affect much of the Houston area this weekend, the All-American Intercollegiate has been postponed, head coach Justin Emil announced this afternoon.
Rice was scheduled to host Baylor, Georgia State, Houston, Lamar, Louisiana, Louisville, New Mexico, New Mexico State, North Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Sam Houston State, Texas, Texas A&M, ULM, UT Arlington and UTSA for a 54-hole tournament at Golf Club of Houston.
Rice is looking to reschedule the tournament later in the year.
The Owls return to the link Feb. 22-23 when they travel to Laredo for the Border Olympics, hosted by Houston.
