Haet and Huang Set for All-American Action

Linda Huang and Michaela Haet will open play in the Riviera ITA Women's All-American Championships in Malibu, California on Saturday with matches in both doubles and singles.
The duo will open play at 11 a.m. (central) when they face Jessica Failla and Anastassia Iamachkine of Pepperdine in the pre-qualifying doubles round. They return to action at 12:30 for their opening matches in pre-qualifying singles with Haet facing Sadie Hammond of Tennessee while Huang takes on Maria Siopacha of George Washington.
This marks the 34th consecutive year the Riviera Tennis Club in Pacific Palisades, California has the nation's top Division I women's players to compete in the Riviera ITA Women's All-American Championships. Pre-qualifying matches are being held at Pepperdine University, with Riviera Tennis Club holding qualifying and main draw matches. Qualifying singles and doubles are set for October 2-3, with the main draw running from October 4-7.
In addition to vying for the All-American national title, players will be competing to secure a berth into the 2018 Oracle ITA National Fall Championships, which takes place November 7-11, in Surprise, Arizona. Singles quarterfinalists, consolation singles champion and finalist, along with doubles semifinalists and consolation doubles champion and finalist advance to the end of fall national championship.
