Rice Hosts Northwestern State in Men Against Breast Cancer Cougar Cup

HOUSTON — Rice will host Northwestern State in the Men Against Breast Cancer Cougar Cup this Saturday, Nov. 17. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m. and the game will be livestreamed by ESPN3.
Scouting Rice
• Rice is 2-2 after falling at Houston, 79-68, on Wednesday.
• Rice has four players averaging double-figures, led by guard Ako Adams with 16.0 points per game. The junior is connecting on 50.0% from three while also leading the team with 3.3 rebounds per game.
• Guard Robert Martin is second on the team with 13.8 points. The junior is connecting on 70.8% from the field and 69.2% from three while placing second on the team with 5.8 rebounds per game.
• Graduate transfer Jack Williams is scoring 12.5 points while leading the squad with 6.8 rebounds.
• Guard Josh Parrish is adding 10.0 points and is connecting on 60.0% from the floor.
• Through four games, the Owls are scoring 74.2 points while allowing 73.5.

• Sophomore center Larry Owens is averaging 10.5 points and leads the team with 7.5 rebounds and a 53.3% field goal percentage.
