Rice -- Fast, tall and athletic Rice women[apos]s track & field star competing on the soccer team for the first time... Helped lead the Owls to back-to-back Conference USA Indoor and Outdoor championships in 2007 and 2008... Returns to soccer after an accomplished prep and club career in Canada... 2007-08: Finished third in the 400-meter hurdles in the Conference USA Outdoor meet... Was the third leg of the Owls[apos] C-USA championship 4x400 relay team... Ran the hurdles and was a relay member during the indoor season... 2006-07: Regional qualifier in the 400-hurdles with a first place finish at the C-USA Outdoor meet... As the fastest Owl in this event, recorded a personal best time of 59.45... Anchored the 4x400 relay... Recorded a personal best of 55.55 in the 400 at the C-USA Indoor Championships to take second place... 2005-06: Opened with a 62.06 in the 400 hurdles at Bayou Classic... Anchored 4x400 to season-best 3:49.75 at Texas Relays, and also ran the 400 leg on Owls[apos] distance medley relay... 2004-05: Scored for the team at the Western Athletic Conference Championships with a sixth in 400 hurdles (1:04.59)... Ran an inddor best best 57.73 in 400 at Iowa State... Competed on the Owls[apos] 4x400 and distance medley relay teams.
International/Club -- Played on the Dixie Fury for coach Joe Moscato from 2001-2004... Helped lead the Fury to the Outdoor Ontario Cup twice in 2001 and 2003 and the Indoor Ontario Cup once... Played on the Ontario Provincial team from 2001-2004... Member of the Alberta soccer team in 2000... Twice qualified to the National Club Championships 2001 and 2003, finishing with a silver and bronze medal, respectively... Winner of League Cup and Ontario Youth Soccer League (OYSL) multiple times for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.
High School -- A 2004 graduate of Lorne Park Secondary School... Took gold in the 100 and 400 at Ontario high school championships... Winner of a gold and two silver medals at the 2002 Canadian Legion National Championships... Earned a bronze medal in the 400 at the 2002 Canadian Junior Championships... Also involved in drama and visual arts with lead roles in the school musicals... Regional qualifier in the Sears Ontario Drama Festival as a writer, director and actor.
