FRESHMAN (2006-07)
Outdoor: Proved a versatile competitor for the Owls... Set outdoor season bests of 59.50 in the 400, 5-4 in the high jump, and 11.48/37-8 in the triple jump.
Indoor: Earned points for the Owls at the C-USA meet with a 3rd place finish in the triple jump and a 4th place finish in the high jump... Recorded indoor season bests of 61.89 in the 400, 1.64/5-4.5 in the high jump, and 12-21/40-.075 in the triple. PREP/PERSONAL
2006 graduate of DeSoto High School... Lettered four years for coach Brent Jones and the Eagles... Texas 5A state champion in the triple jump as a senior... Won district TJ title as a junior... National Junior Olympics silver medalist in the TJ in 2004... Also played basketball and volleyball at DeSoto... Ranked 10th nationally in the TJ as a senior, with a best of 40-4.75.
