Graduated from the University School of Nashville (Nashville, TN) where he competed for the Tigers under head coach George Flatau...was named the school's MVP his senior year and broke the school record in the 5k with a time of 15:54...also ran track and field under head coach Zaf Ahmed, competing in both the 1600m (4:34-PR) and the 800m (2:00-PR)...graduated with a 3.99 GPA.
