Placed fifteenth at the SEC Outdoor Championships with a best time of 3:57.46 in the 1500 m. Graduate of Omaha Burke High School. Four-year letterman under coach Mike Mingo. District Champ in 2002 in the 1600 m. Placed fifth at state in the 1600m in 2003. In 2004, placed fifth at state as part of a 4x800 relay team.
