A four-year starter for coach Travis Lockett who quarterbacked the Patriots to a 15-0 record and the school’s first AHSAA Class 1A high school state championship… Threw for 1,289 yards and 10 touchdowns and ran for 764 yards and eight touchdowns on offense while collecting 57 tackles, nine PBUs, and returning three interceptions for touchdowns on defense... Finished his career with 171 tackles, eight interceptions (three for scores), and broke up 22 passes... A four-year letterman in basketball, averaging 15 points and 13 rebounds per game… Recipient of the Larry D.
