Honors at Rice
2023
Put together a career year, setting career highs in games (12), starts (11), tackles (37), PBU (10) and interceptions (2), and snaps (791)… Highest rated Owls defensive starter by PFF (77.1) and also led the defensive backs with a 79.8 coverage grade… Opened the season with a career-high six tackles at Texas and set up scores early in the following wins over Houston and Texas Southern with turnovers… Picked off a UH pass on the Cougars’ first possession to set up Rice’s second touchdown in the opening minutes and recovered a fumble on TSU’s first play from scrimmage to set up the Owls’ first score of the night… Broke up at least one pass in five consecutive games, including a career-best three at UTSA… Second interception of the season closed out a 28-7 win at Charlotte and moved the Owls to within one game of bowl eligibility.
2022
Returned to action for the first time since 2020 and was credited with seven tackles… Collected five of his seven stops on the year in his first start of the year vs. UTSA, matching his career high (third time in his career)… Start vs. Roadrunners was the seventh of his career and his first since the Southern Miss game in 2020.
2021
Did not see action while recuperating from an injury.
2020
Made two starts and saw action in three games. Made his sixth career start at Southern Miss and recovered his first career fumble which he returned 17 yards to set up the Owls' third score of the day, Matched his career-high with five tackles in the opener vs. Middle Tennessee... Missed the final two games because of an injury.
2019
True freshman walk-on who earned a scholarship during training camp, made his debut in the opener vs. Army, and started the final four games of the year… Finished the year with 15 tackles, including a career-high five at Middle Tennessee… Made his starting debut vs. Marshall… Credited with three tackles on kickoff coverage, including one on his first collegiate play at Army… Broke up a pair of passes.

Three-time, all-district selection for coach Reginald Samples…All-District 8-6A as a senior after helping lead the Panthers to the 6A D1 state title game and All-District 7-6A as a sophomore and junior… Picked off a pair of passes as a senior and finished his career with 13... Joined his Duncanville teammate De’Braylon Carroll in signing with the Owls… Named to Dave Campbell’s Texas Football’s Top 300 and as part of the magazine’s postseason “Class of 2019.
