Two-time unanimous All-District 17-6A selection for coach Todd Rankin at Stratford where he was a teammate with fellow freshman Cooper King… Houston Chronicle & Houston Touchdown Club all-greater Houston preseason teams… Did not allow a sack and gave up only one hurry out of 254 pass plays as the Spartans averaged a school-record 436 yards per game (253 passing/179 rushing)… Only allowed one sack and four hurries in two years as a starter… Valedictorian in a class of 537. 1st Team Academic All-State… Bilingual in Spanish…Finalist for Tommy Tune Award for supporting lead role, the Monster, in the musical Young Frankenstein. Cast in 5 musicals during high school and can also tap dance.
