2023
Second on the team with 326 yards rushing, third with 438 all-purpose yards, and fourth with 326 yards of total offense and four touchdowns despite missing one game … Rushed for a season-high 71 yards on 15 carries (also a season-high) in the finale vs. Florida Atlantic… Matched his career-high with a pair of rushing touchdowns vs. UConn and matched that with two vs. Tulane… More than doubled his career reception total, finishing the year with 12 for 100 yards… Also returned one kickoff for 12 yards.
2022
George R. Brown Award winner for running backs as selected by his teammates after rushing for a career-best 403 yards while seeing action in all 13 games… Added 215 yards on kickoff returns to finish third on the team with 685 all-purpose yards… Topped 1,000 career rushing yards while rushing for 94 yards vs. North Texas and is the Owls’ active leader with 1,082… Had only six carries for 35 yards in the first six games, then rushed for 368 over the last seven, beginning with a 56-yard effort at LA Tech to help spur the Owls to an overtime win… Broke free for 19 yards on second down in the overtime session and then covered the final four to put Rice back in front to stay… Rushed for a season-best 97 yards at WKU. Totaled 142 all-purpose yards at North Texas, rushing for 94 and adding 48 on a pass reception, the longest of his career.
2021
Scored on his first carry of the year, a 2-yard run vs. WKU, and added a pair of receptions for eight yards... Tied with Sean Fresch with 14 kickoff returns and was second to him with 313 yards... Returned five for 123 yards vs. LA Tech and three kickoffs for 99 yards at UAB, including a 50-yard effort to open the game. Return was the longest by an Owl since Austin Trammell returned a kick 54 yards vs. Wake Forest in 2019.
2020
Played in only two games, but was second on the squad with 195 yards on the ground in 2020 and led the running backs with a 4.3 average per carry... Topped 100 yards for the second time in his career, rushing for 111 on 25 carries at Southern Miss... Rushed for 84 yards on 20 carries in the opener vs. Middle Tennessee, his most extensive action since leading the team with 66 yards on 14 carries vs. Marshall in 2019.
2019
Saw action in three games after rehabbing from offseason surgery and was able to preserve his redshirt… Rushed for 114 yards on the season and also caught his first career passes (3 for 37 yards)… Returned to action vs. Southern Miss and also played against Marshall and Middle Tennessee… Rushed for a season-high 66 yards on 14 carries vs. Marshall and carried the ball a season-high 20 times (42 yards) vs. the Blue Raiders… Caught one pass for nine yards vs. Marshall and a pair of passes for 28 yards at Middle Tennessee.
2018
A member of Mike Bloomgren's first recruiting class who closed his initial season strongly, earning C-USA Offensive Player of the Week honors after setting a Rice freshman record with 224 yards (27 carries) and a pair of long touchdowns against ODU in the season finale... 224 yards rushing matched the fifth-best total in school history (Chad Richardson, 1998)... Scorched the Monarchs with an 80-yard TD late in the third quarter to snap a 13-13 tie... Jaunt was the longest scoring run by an Owl since 2011 and the second-longest in C-USA in 2018... Iced the game in the fourth quarter with a 62-yard TD run... Scored his first career touchdown on a five-yard run at LSU... Named Player of the Week for the offensive scout team for his work prior to the Houston game.
James Martin High School
Three-year starter for Bob Wager who led the Warriors to the 6A D1 Region 1 semifinals as a senior.... Threw for 1,022 yards and eight touchdowns and ran for 684 and scored 20 times as a senior after rushing for 1,481 on 169 carries (8.8 per carry) and scoring 24 times as a junior... A member of Dave Campbell Texas Football's top 300 as well as DCTF's postseason Class of 2018... Serves on the Student Council and named Warrior of the Month
