Has great work rate and brings intensity to the team. 2009: Earned the Conference USA Spirit of Service Award (soccer) from the league office for charity and volunteer service efforts - including (but not limited to) working with a medical team in Malawi, Africa, prior to the start of the fall semester; Conference USA Commissioner[apos]s Academic Medalist; C-USA Academic Honor Roll; Rice University Honor Athlete; Shared the program[apos]s annual Who[apos]s Hoo Award (with Jordan Holloway and Jessica Ross) as the player who sparks the team or makes the most immediate impact when entering the game off the bench; Saw an increase in number games played (13), starts (3) and minutes played (294), and has steadily improved on those totals in each of her three years of service on the team... Father was co-captain of the track and field team at Duke University, where he was the ACC champion in the long jump... Older brother, Josh, is a goalkeeper at Stanford... Aunt, Joan Nesbit-Mabe, is a world class runner who competed in the 1996 Olympic Games for the United States in the 10,000 meters. Natural science major. College: Baker
