Several Owls Head to Texas Relays

HOUSTON – The Rice men's track and field team will have a small showing at the Texas Relays this weekend in Austin, Texas. Rice will have a full team showing next weekend at Texas A&M.
Juan Marais is set to compete in the discus after a season-best throw of 57.87m to win the event last weekend at the Victor Lopez Classic.
Christian Edgar will race in both the 110m hurdles and the 400m hurdles. Edgar was fourth in the 110m hurdles at last year's American Championships.
Drayden Dickmann is set for his first race of the year, following a sixth-place showing last time out in the 100m at the American Outdoor Championships.
