HOUSTON – The Rice women's tennis team will face No. 36 Wichita State on Saturday at 10 a.m. at the George R. Brown Tennis Center.
The No. 42 Owls were originally scheduled to host Louisiana on Saturday and Wichita State on Sunday. Due to potential storms this weekend, the Louisiana match has been postponed and the Owls will now face the Shockers on Saturday morning.
Rice enters the weekend with a 7-3 record and a 4-0 mark at home. The Owls are coming off a 6-1 win over Sam Houston in Huntsville.
Rice holds a 6-1 all-time record against Wichita State, with the most recent meeting ending in a 4-0 victory on April 8, 2025, in Houston.
