
Alexis Earns Spot on American Honorable Mention

IRVING – Aniah Alexis received another conference recognition after earning back-to-back weeks on the American Conference Honorable Mention, the league announced Monday afternoon.
Alexis powered the Owls to a pair for conference road wins at South Florida and Florida Atlantic. Alexis led the Owls with 19 points, six rebounds, an assist and steal against the Bulls. She added 19 points, five rebounds and three steals at Florida Atlantic.
This is the third time Alexis was named to the weekly honorable mention. Alexis was also a preseason All-Conference Second Team selection.
Rice (12-3) hosts Charlotte Wednesday night for the team's first home conference game.
