Postgame Reaction – Shelley Pennington and Friends Head Coach Lindsay Edmonds
"It was a battle, we anticipated it being a battle. I'm just so proud of our ladies for they way they fought, the way they represented Rice and for the way they protected home. We got a great shot out of a very good basketball team here, they were trying to take one on the road against us. Their pressure was intense and they were crashing the rebounds really hard, and we were able to find a way to play through the way they were playing and the way they defended us. We found a way to get a win. I felt that every quarter we got a little better, which goes to show a lot about our team."
