Owls Set for NCAA South Central Regional

FAYETTEVILLE – The Rice men's and women's cross country teams ready for the 2025 NCAA South Central Regional Friday morning, hosted by the University of Arkansas.
The races will not be live streamed, but live results can be found here.
The women's team returns to the course after a second-place showing at the American Championship meet two weeks ago in Charlotte.
Oliwia Kopeć led the way in third place, while Alex Gobran was close behind in sixth place. Both were named to the American All-Conference Team.
The men's team had a strong showing at the American Championship meet, finishing fifth as a team.
Gus Gannon was the top finisher for the Owls, finishing in 24th, all five finishers were in the top 50 of the race.
