HOUSTON – Two Owls from the upcoming 2025-26 signing class have been selected as nominees for the 2025 McDonald's All-American Games as Jordin Blackmon (Inglewood, Calif./Bishop Montgomery) and Mylee Guinn (Frisco, Texas/Prestonwood Christian Academy) were both nominated, the organization announced.
From a list of the nation's notable high school seniors, the Games' Selection Committee will identify the top 24 girls to play in this year's edition of the annual event, which will be played on April 1.
Blackmon has achieved a high level of success during her high school years, claiming three Del Rey League titles in addition to being crowned the 2023-24 D1 State Champions. Last season's state title was the school's first since 2003, with Blackmon leading the team to a 23-5 record. A three-year letterwinner, Blackmon is also a three-time All-CIF Team, two-time First Team Open Division, two-time league MVP, a 2023-24 All-American and already a 1,000-point scorer.
In addition to basketball, Blackmon carries a 4.0 GPA and is a three-year principal's honor roll honoree.
A three-year letterwinner, Guinn has earned numerous accolades over her high school career, including the Texas District 9-5A Newcomer of the Year. During her junior campaign, she averaged 16.4 points and 8.3 rebounds per game, earning the District 9-5A MVP honor, which she also earned her sophomore year. Entering her senior year, Guinn has amassed over 1,500 points and 800 rebounds.
In addition to basketball, Guinn is a member of the National Honor Society. She has two sisters, one who currently plays volleyball at Texas A&M.
