IRVING – The American Athletic Conference has announced the broadcast schedule and game times for the conference slate for Rice women's basketball, which features a nationally televised broadcast for the reigning champions of the AAC.
For the second consecutive season, the Owls will welcome South Florida to Tudor Fieldhouse on the national stage, with the game being broadcasted to ESPN2 at noon. The game was initially slated for ESPNU, but was promoted to an ESPN2 broadcast shortly after. The remainder of Rice's conference schedule will be broadcasted on ESPN+.
The Bulls were the preseason favorite in the 2024-25 AAC Preseason Coaches' Poll, with the Owls being tied for second. Rice swept the season series a year ago, and holds a 2-1 series lead.
Rice's home AAC schedule will have games set for a 7:00 p.m. tip-off during the weekdays and have a 2:00 p.m. tip-off on the weekends, unless otherwise noted. Rice's game at home against UTSA (2-22) does not have a time due to the game being part of another doubleheader with men's basketball.
The full conference schedule for Rice with times is listed below.
Rice will host Lubbock Christian on Oct. 29, for an exhibition before opening the season against the reigning Summit League champion South Dakota State at Tudor Fieldhouse on Nov. 4.
