Amata, Slinkman Highlight Rice’s Weekend on West Coast

AZUSA – The Rice men's track and field team had a great weekend out west, with top finishes at both the Mt. SAC Relays and the Bryan Clay Invite.
The Bryan Clay Invite was highlighted by Ese Amata's second-place finish in the high jump. Zach Neuman finished 11th in the 400m hurdles while Gus Gannon finished eighth in the fourth heat of the 5000.
At the Mt. SAC Relays, Alexander Slinkman had a great showing in pole vault, taking second place with a height of 5.45m (17-10.5).
