HOUSTON – The Rice men's track and field team had a strong showing at the Texas Relays, with several top-10 finishes while claiming one event title during the four-day meet.
Rice opened its first event with a title as Alexander Slinkman took the B section of men's pole vault. Sam Welsh continued his strong 2023 campaign with a fifth-place finish in discus Friday afternoon.
