Owls to Compete at Texas A&M's 44 Farms Team Invitational

Meet runs April 8-9 at E.B. Cushing Stadium
HOUSTON - The Rice Owls men's track and field team heads to College Station this weekend (April 8-9) to participate in the Texas A&M 44 Farms Invitational at E.B. Cushing Stadium. The two-day meet will consist of 13 teams, featuring host Texas A&M, Baylor, Houston, Houston Baptist, Prairie View A&M, Purdue, Rice, Sam Houston, UTSA, UT-Tyler, Texas Southern, Texas State, and UW-Milwaukee.
Live results will be available via flashresults.com and the meet will be streamed starting on Saturday at 6:30 p.m. on SEC Network+.
The Owls, who will have 22 total athletes competing, are currently ranked No. 7 in the USTFCCCA South Central Region and hold six of the top marks in Conference USA this season; Andrew Abikhaled (3000m Steeplechase-8:51.71), Grant Levesque (Decathlon-7219 pts), Alex Slinkman (Pole Vault-5.21m), Nick Hicks (Hammer Throw-61.27m), Samuel Woodley (Discus-55.14m), and Elian Ahmar (Shot Put-17.57m).
