Golf Heads into Final Day of Cabo Collegiate

Cabo, Mexico — The Rice golf team is in 15th-place heading into the final round of the Cabo Collegiate.
The Owls shot a 293 and are 19-over par for the tournament.
Senior Jake Benson is tied for 47th-place three-over par after carding a 74. Freshman Raghav Chugh posted an even par 71 to sit four-over par in a tie for 55th-place. It was his team-leading sixth round of par or better this year.
Junior Forrest Park and senior Harrison Hineline are eight-over par in a 72nd-place tie. Park fired a career-best, one-under 70, his first career round of par or better while Hineline posted a 78. Sophomore Rodrigo Martin is in 77th-place after carding an 80.
No. 3 Oklahoma State and No. 41 Florida State are tied for the team lead at 18-under par. Arizona's Chase Sienkiewicz leads the individual competition at 10-under par, two strokes in front of Vanderbilt's Gordon Sargent and Arkansas' Mateo Fernandez De Oliveira.
