The 2020 promotional schedule for Rice baseball home games has been finalized.
The Owls open the 2020 season on Feb. 14 with a three-game weekend home series against longtime rival Texas. It's the first of 30 games at Reckling Park, where host of giveaway items and special promotional events are planned throughout the year.
Longtime Reckling Park favorites like the Hometown Heroes Night, which honors military veterans and active service members, is back in 2020. There's something for everyone this season, such as the annual Go Rodeo, Margaritaville, Bark In The Park, NASA Space Day and Star Wars Night games. Giveaway items like tee-shirts, caps, pennants, trading cards and pint mugs are proven hits with Owl fans.
Rice's 2020 opponents includes Texas, Texas A&M, Houston, Houston Baptist, Louisiana-Lafayette, McNeese, Missouri State, Lamar, Prairie View, Sam Houston State and Texas State for non-conference home games. The Conference USA home slate includes Florida Atlantic, Charlotte, Old Dominion, Marshall and Western Kentucky.
