The Lede: Rice captured two of three doubles matches and four of six singles matches on the second day of action at the Texas A&M Invitational at the Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station on Saturday.
The Details: Linda Huang remained unbeaten in singles, taking a straight set win over Taylor Bridges of LSU while also combining with Michaela Haet for a 7-6 win in doubles over Malaika Rapolu and Peyton Stearns of Texas. Freshman Federica Trevisan did not lose a game on her way to her first collegiate singles, racing past Texas State's Chacadyah Israel-Lewis, 6-0, 6-0. The Owls have posted a combined 5-4 record in doubles and 5-7 in singles through the first two days of action.
