Owls Meet Again with Little Rock
For a third straight season the Owls and Trojans will meet on the hardwood this Saturday. The meetings pairs two teams picked to win their respective conferences after each squad won their regular season and tournament titles last year. Rice has won the last two games in the series while Little Rock has a 7-3 edge overall. In last year's meeting, Erica Ogwumike scored 21 points and pulled down 19 rebounds for Rice's first win of the 2018-19 season. As a team the Owls made 9-of-14 three-point attempts, three of which came from guard Jasmine Smith.
