Rice Begins Road Trip at Charlotte

HOUSTON — Rice looks to get back in the win column this Thursday, Jan. 31, when it begins a two-game road trip at Charlotte. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT and the game will be livestreamed by CUSAtv.
Scouting Rice
• Rice is 8-13 overall and 3-5 in Conference USA. The Owls are looking to get back to their winning ways after dropping an 89-86 decision to UAB last Saturday.
• Rice has four players averaging double-figures, led by freshman guard Chris Mullins with 13.0 points. He also leads the team in steals with 1.4 per game.
• Junior forward Robert Martin is second on the team with 12.0 points and 6.1 rebounds. He is connecting on 48.3% from the field and 43.1% from three, which is fifth in Conference USA.
• Junior guard Ako Adams is third on the team with 11.7 points per game. He is connecting on 39.5% from three, good for ninth in the league while leading the team with 2.9 assists per game. He also leads Conference USA in free throw percentage, connecting on 91.2% from the line.
• Graduate student Jack Williams is scoring 10.5 points while leading the squad with 7.9 rebounds, which is sixth in the league.
• The Owls are scoring 76.0 points but are allowing 79.1.
• Rice is connecting on 44.2% from the field and 34.8% from three while allowing 45.9% from the floor and 35.0% from three.

• Sophomore forward Milos Supica is averaging 7.9 points while leading the team with 5.0 rebounds.
